His bold opening tip is “It’s not about you… it’s about them”.
Actually, much of the other advice he offers for building solid blogger relationships applies as much to conventional journalists as it does to those writing in the blogosphere, though the latter group are possibly more resistant to PR done badly. Either way, it’s well worth reading Odden’s advice.
